昨日から連絡を取り合っていたナカムラショウタに電話すると、
XXビーチがゴリってて、これからやりますとのこと。
早速急行すると、強烈なショアブレイクが炸裂。
ほとんどドダンパーにしか見えないが、まさにスラブとはこのこと。
狂気ともいえるスラブセッションに突入した〜〜
When I called Shota Nakamura,
XX Beach seems to be good so he’s gonna surf.
So when we got there, solid shore breaks were breaking.
Session in this chaotic condition has started~~~

日本一とも言えるスラブサーファーのショウタ。
ゴリンゴリンのショアブレイクバレルにプルイン。
クローズの中でメイカブルな波を見つけスピッツアウトしてくる。
こんなヘビーなビーチブレイクセッションを久々に拝ませてもらったぜ〜
Shota is one of the best shore break surfer in Japan.
Pulling into this crazy shore break.
He makes through the wave by choosing the makable wave carefully.
Never seen this kind of heavy beach break for ages~~
Keito Matsuoka
まあとにかく肉厚のリップに飛び込んで行くしか無いプルインセッション。
１０の中の１を求めるスラブサーファーならではのスピリッツと言える。
Surfers just has to pull into this heavy lip.
We could feel the surfer’s spirit by seeing them surfing in this chaotic condition.
Takafumi Shimizu
誰よりも先にパドルアウトしていったロコボーイのシミズタカフミ君。
ロングボードで信じられないチャージを見せてくれた。
Local surfer, Takafumi Shimizu was in there first.
Can’t believe he can charge that aggressively with his long board.
Masayuki Yamada
スタイリッシュなチャージンを披露してくれた、名古屋サーファーのヤマダマサユキさん。
沖のブレイクを気にしていたが、入ってみるとプロサーファーと共に、
ヘビーショアブレイクに突っ込んで行った〜
Masayuki Yamada showed us a stylish chargin’.
He was aiming for the outer breaks but
once he got in there, he was surfing in the heavy shore breaks with the others~~
Jun Shiiba
皆より右奥のピークを狙い、ミディアムカインドのメイカブルな波を選んでいたバジュン。
何気に８割がたチューブをメイクしていたのは流石といえる。
Jun Shiiba was getting the medium kind makable waves from the right peak.
Made through 80% of the waves he caught.
Yujiro Tsuji
伊良湖入りしてから体調不良で、昨日は点滴まで打ったと言うユウジロウだが、
今日は狂気とも言えるチャージを繰り返し、
何度も何度もヘビーなスピッツアウトと共にバレルから吐き出されて来た。
日本とは思えないこのティック／サイズのビーチで歴史的セッションが展開された〜
Yujiro was feeling sick yesterday but
he showed us a incredible charge today.
Made through bunch of barrels.
One legendary session was going off in this tick beach~~~

渥美半島／遠州灘には延々と続くビーチがあり、
そのどこかに砂がつき、こんなワールドクラスのバレリーが存在する。
恐るべし伊良湖ですじゃ！！
またまた忙しくなって来たので、今日の所は触りだけです。
後日またこのセッションの模様はアップしますね〜
それにしてもこの暑さはなんなんじゃ〜〜
In Atsumi Peninsula, Enshunada, there is beach continuing for a long distance.
And there’s always a world class barrel appearing somewhere when swell fills in.
What a place, Irago!!
